In order to maximize the value of the BagYourRewards program for both our participants as well as our Rewards Partners, BagYourRewards will collect both personal and non-personal information. Required information in order to participate in the program includes your name and personal address if registering over the phone. If you are registering over the internet, a valid email address will be required as well. BagYourRewards will also track your usage of reusable bags, the total dollars spent at participating retail stores and your rewards redemption patterns. BagYourRewards will not track product level data (i.e. what you are purchasing when you shop), but will only receive aggregate dollar amounts from each shopping trip from the participating retailer. BagYourRewards may also periodically ask for other personal information that will not be mandatory for participation in the BagYourRewards program (i.e. demographics, shopping habits, etc.). In addition, certain Rewards Partners might make their rewards contingent on the participant providing additional personal information. The participant does not need to provide this information to continue to participate in the BagYourRewards program, but will be unable to redeem that particular reward unless they provide the requested information.

We use the information we collect to maximize the value in the program for both our participants and other partners. We do not market (sell, lease, etc.) your personal information or program activity to any third parties without your explicit consent. We may share information with participating retailers about the frequency with which you use reusable bags, but will provide no other personal information. We may also share information with others about the aggregate usage of reusable bags in certain cities, counties or states, including yours, but this information will not personally identify you in any way.

In addition, we keep records of email addresses from individuals who send us email inquiries, regardless of whether or not they are a participant in the BagYourRewards program. We also collect certain information from visitors to our website. This anonymous information includes the pages you view on our website, the websites you visit immediately before and immediately after visiting our website, your IP address and the operating system, browser software and internet service provider you use. This information does not personally identify you and is collected irrespective of whether you are a participant in the BagYourRewards program. If you wish to correct, update, change, or delete your personal data, you may do so by visiting the Account section of the BagYourRewards web site.

We use data from participating retail stores to track your reusable bag usage and to convert your total bill from transactions where reusable bags were used into Reward Points. This information is then maintained in our proprietary data base to track the aggregate amount of Reward Points you have earned and to enable you to utilize those Reward Points to redeem rewards. We may aggregate the reusable bag usage data from BagYourRewards participants and disclose the aggregate information to third parties. This aggregate information will not contain data that will enable any third parties to personally identify you. If we elect to sell our company or its assets, we have the right to transfer your personal BagYourRewards data to the purchaser so that the purchaser may continue to provide services to you. The purchaser will continue to be bound by this Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions of the BagYourRewards program.

BagYourRewards will periodically send marketing messages via email to its participants who have provided email addresses. These marketing messages will include notification of new rewards, special Reward Points opportunities and special offerings from our partners. Participants can choose to not receive these messages by updating their account profile on the BagYourRewards website. Even if you elect not to receive these marketing messages, BagYourRewards reserves the right to send you any notices that are required by law, regulation or as needed to service your account.

We are only responsible for the content and Privacy Policy of our website. If you choose to click on links to other websites from our website, the treatment of your personal information will no longer be subject to our Privacy Policy, but instead will be subject to the privacy policy of the website that you navigate to.
